A New I.C.E. Age?
Reclaiming an acronym from what I suspect will be the ash heap of history. . . .
Awhile ago my spouse and I had a chat about how we might reclaim the acronym I.C.E. from its current use. We came up with this, and he had it put on a T-Shirt yesterday to get more public with the idea. He’s excited to share it.
“Post it anywhere you want,” he said to me.

We’ll hold the “copyright,” but not charge anyone to create for yourself. So, please— don’t start charging other people....let it flow freely. I think right now, it’s important we let these kind of ideas spread unhindered by “getting and spending” that poet William Wordsworth said long ago can “lay waste our powers.” (The World is Too Much With Us)
Maybe someone else has already come up with this? I haven’t seen it. Have you? If you have, please let us know and we’ll credit them.
Anyway--hope you’ll join in the fun when you attend your next “No Kings’ Rally” or whatever you decide to do to voice who and what you believe.
I like the reminder I’ve heard-- I believe from our Congressional Rep: Get Involved. Democracy is NOT a spectator sport.
I hope you’ll get involved with your ideas and values, and may the truth prevail, which I personally have found--at least from my experience and the Wisdom of Christian Scripture-- isthat we are deeply beloved of our Creative Source, what some may call God, others Goddess, or Allah, the Brahmin, Great Spirit, Holy Spirit, Goodness, Beauty, Truth, Love. ALL of Us, including those of a-typical gender orientations or gender identifications, and all ethnicities, skin tones, sizes, abilities, and ages.
No one is a mistake or deserves to be treated as an object.
Having spent two decades now in the profession of spiritual companioning, I believe in helping people live from the inside out, rather than the other way around. It’s what we can’t see that needs to come first. Some people put it this way: We’re spiritual beings having a physical experience. That works for me.
If you start wearing one of these, I’d love to see a picture!
